WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (March 9, 2010) - Woodbine* won 14 awards at The Ad Club of the Triad’s ADDY® Awards show, including a prestigious Judges’ Choice Award. The American Advertising Federation’s annual event was held February 27 at Embassy Suites in Greensboro, N.C.
The Addy Awards are the advertising industry's grandest competition, recognizing creative excellence in numerous categories and showcasing the very best advertising worldwide. But the road to glory is paved with competition. The Addy Awards are unique in that they include three rigorous rounds of judging, and for those hopeful Triad agencies who want a chance at the big time, the first step is to win at the local level.
The Judges’ Choice award -- the work that receives the highest accolades from the Judges after Best in Show -- was for Woodbine’s self-promotion of its 9.5 Principles for Brand Revitalization. This work, along with Woodbine’s “Non-Traditional Advertising” campaign for Piedmont Federal Savings Bank, pulled in two gold awards, making Woodbine a stand-out agency at the 2010 ADDY Awards show.
